Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodríguez said that mechanisms for the countries to receive affordable medicines were tackled this Wednesday at a meeting with the United Nations International Technical Cooperation group, held at the Foreign Minister headquarters, downtown Caracas.
In that connection, the participants assessed how Venezuela has taken advantage of the supply mechanisms in the benefit of its people, and they also evaluated how to increase cooperation in order to acquire medicines through strategic and rotating funds, seeking to consolidate and enhance supply in the Caribbean nation.
Through this cooperation, the Venezuelan government hopes to strengthen the model of the “Bolivarian revolution” founded by late President Hugo Chávez and followed by President Nicolás Maduro.
