The Venezuelan oil basket on Friday, December 9, hit USD 44.01 per barrel, a USD 3.54 surge from the previous week.
As reported by the webpage of the Venezuelan Ministry of Petroleum and Mining, the weekly average price of all oil indicators climbed “following the decision of OPEC Ministers to cut the organization’s oil output.”
The hike is an important incentive having in mind the poor stability recorded in the oil market over the past months, generally showing a downward trend.
