The Venezuelan government will leave the Organization of American States (OAS) if a new meeting of foreign ministers is to take place to discuss the state of affairs in Venezuela, Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Delcy Rodríguez warned on Tuesday.
Rodríguez explained that President Nicolás Maduro had ordered her to take action accordingly.
The OAS Permanent Council plans to meet on Wednesday, as requested by 17 Member States, to ponder on a potential meeting of foreign ministers with respect to the Venezuelan case.
