Attorney General Luisa Ortega Díaz reported on Tuesday that her office is investigating a total of 90 killings during events linked to anti-government protests throughout Venezuela and started last April.
During a press conference at the Attorney General Office, Ortega Díaz said that so far a total of
4,658 have been prosecuted with respect to crimes during the demonstrations, 70 of whom have been indicted.
The Attorney General said he has no access to military courts, underscoring that this is an obstacle to the works carried out by public prosecutors.
Ortega Díaz said also that the warrants of arrest issued against state security agents have not been enforced.
