Gubernatorial elections in Venezuela, slated for December 10 of this current year, will depend on the decisions to be adopted by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), to be elected next Sunday, July 30, warned Socorro Hernández, one of the directors of the Venezuelan National Electoral Council.
The CNE is working on the schedule for the gubernatorial elections in tandem with the election of the National Constituent Assembly, depending though on the Constituent Assembly, Hernández anticipated.
“As soon as we elect the ANC, we will see what will be the decisions,” she said during an interview on Sunday with local newspaper Panorama.
