The President of Costa Rica, Costa Rica, Luis Guillermo Solís, held a meeting on Tuesday in Washington with Marco Rubio, US Senator and Chair of the Subcommittee for Latin America in the US House. At that time, they tackled a number of issues, including drug traffic, Cuban migration through Central America and Venezuela’s crash.
With regard to Venezuela, Rubio underscored the importance for the nations of the Americas, to “speak with one voice only” at the Organization of American States (OAS) to enforce the Democratic Charter against the “regime of (Venezuelan President Nicolás) Maduro.”
