For visitors seeking to spend a good time far from the bustling city, this is undoubtedly the choice. In this paradise, visitors can rest on the shoreline, enjoy good services provided by near inns and gaze at dusk on Copey mountains.
This site is also famous for the international surf practices performed in the past.
The 503-meter long beach is seven kilometers away from Carúpano town, Paria Peninsula, in north-western Sucre state. It is flanked by two large rocks ensuring peace and calm.
Tourists visiting Copey beach must take the national road of Cumaná and travel some 10 kilometers by the 9th trunk road until reaching Copey's main avenue. They can also depart from downtown Carúpano, and get to Copey Beach in only five minutes.
