Unlike other beaches in Higuerote (north-central Miranda state), Caracolito beach offers crystal-clear and warm waters most of the year, thus drawing the attention of dozens of tourists eager for fun. Visitors may also rent out tents and chairs to meet their needs, taste rich coast food, and lap up delicious cocktails and other beverages.
The beach, which is 400-meter long and 10-meter wide, is located a few minutes away from Caracas. It has several attractions ideal for a weekend getaway.
Vacationers may reach Caracolito beach by sea, taking a boat to Chirimena, a small town famous for its drum beating. Also, they can set off from Puerto Francés beach, in Barlovento, a village amidst green and blue waters. Another access is that from Carenero, to the north of the Higuerote's resort city. From there, they may get to Caracolito and Buche beaches.
