Leopoldo López: Turnout is awesome!

Leopoldo López, ex presidential hopeful and coordinator of the Tricolor Team, affirmed that voters' turnout has been a wonder, thus reasserting that for Venezuelans "democracy is the way."

López informed that according to initial reports, in all Venezuelan states, the setup and operation of the polling stations has been almost completed, in addition to a high turnout. His comments were made after casting his ballot.

"I have spoken to people from the prairies, west Venezuela, in towns, and there is high turnout... Today, the Youth Day, we are nailing down democracy, participation. I have no doubt that today hallmarks the beginning of a new stage for Venezuelans."
