The 103 international election escorts who are following the primary elections of the opposition umbrella group Unified Democratic Panel (MUD) met on Saturday with representatives of the alliance of political organizations and with Luis Emilio Rondón, the director of the National Electoral Council's Office for Political Participation, and were informed of the election process that is taking place on Sunday 12, 2012.

The group of election viewers received the credentials issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE) which accredit them as international election escorts. In this way, they will be able to travel throughout the country and have access to polling stations, based on their personal schedules. The group is composed of 43 delegates who were invited by the CNE and 60 people invited by the MUD.
