From early morning voters begin arriving at polling centers in Caracas

From 3 a.m. on Sunday groups of voters began arriving at polling centers located in different areas of the Venezuelan capital city of Caracas.

In Caracas neighborhoods such as Candelaria, Santa Mónica and Chacao municipality, citizens waited in line from the early morning for the opening of balloting places.

Also in Montalbán, Paraíso y Puente Hierro (south Caracas), citizens got up early to exercise their right to vote.

In Macaracuay, east Caracas, long lines of voters were seen from early hours of the morning.

In Chacao, northeast Caracas, people waited in line at San Ignacio de Loyola and Gustavo Herrera to cast their ballot.
