Young man killed amid looting of supermarket in north Venezuela

Violent groups have being targeting businesses since Monday evening

A young man was shot dead on Tuesday morning in Maracay, state of Aragua, north Venezuela, while people looted a number of stores. Plunder of businesses started late on Monday.

The victim, not identified yet, carried a biker's helmet and wore blue pants, a dark blue t-shirt, and black sneakers. He man was shot in his head at a local supermarket targeted by looters since Monday evening. Looters were reportedly armed.

Similarly, problems have been reported in other local businesses.

People claimed that bikers have been robbing passers-by.
