Amid accusations of incitement to violence, Venezuelan opposition leader Henrique Capriles Radonski on Wednesday stressed via Twitter the need to tell people the truth about the events taking place in Venezuela after the presidential election of April 14.

Capriles said that fascist authorities should be defeated with the truth. "Let us disseminate the truth! Let us use social networks, SMS, any possible means (...) to defeat the lies of government authorities."

The opposition leader also expressed the need to inform people "properly and all the time" to face the lies of Communication and Information Minister Ernesto Villegas.

Earlier, Capriles twitted, "Lying is the shelter of coward people," and added that the "desperate Government" would not prevail over the Venezuelan majority.
