CNE convenes election for Venezuelan president next April 14

The president of the Electoral Power, Tibisay Lucena, reported that the municipal election to be held on July 14 has been adjourned

Tibisay Lucena, the president of Venezuela's National Electoral Council (CNE), has convened to presidential election next April 14.

Lucena said that the nominations may be made next Sunday, March 10, from 8:00 am to 12:00 am and next Monday 11, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

She specified that the register of voters will be the same that was used last October 7, 2012, and that poll workers have been ratified. In this regard, she urged them to "attend the training soon."

Likewise, she reported that the local election scheduled for July 14 has been adjourned.
