Speaker of the Venezuelan National Assembly Diosdado Cabello said on Wednesday in his Twitter account that the opposition cannot make demands on President Hugo Chávez's followers. His statement came after the opposition alliance United Democratic Panel (MUD) requested the Venezuelan Government, through its executive secretary Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, to explain in an "objective and reliable" manner the current state of health of President Hugo Chávez.
"@dcabellor Some komodo dragons think they can make demands on Chávez's people. I hope they make no mistakes. Sadness is not weakness," he said in a tweet.
Further, Cabello said that Chavezism "is very clear what to do," and urged the opposition to focus on their own plans.
"@dcabellor Information for Venezuelan opposition leaders: Chavez's people are very clear what we will do. Take care of what you would do," he said in another message posted on the social network.
