Former Venezuelan Vice-President Elías Jaua stressed that Cuban leader Fidel Castro is in good health conditions
Exhibiting a picture of a meeting held with Cuban former President Fidel Castro, former Venezuelan Vice-President Elías Jaua scotched rumors on Sunday about the death of the Cuban leader.
Castro, 86, had not been seen in public over the last six months amid rumors he was seriously ill. He met with Jaua on Saturday in Havana and then went to a hotel in the Cuban capital city, EFE cited.
The former Venezuelan vice-president informed on Sunday from Havana about his meeting with the Cuban leader saying, "Comrade Fidel was very kind for receiving us yesterday. We talk for five hours about agriculture, history, foreign affairs, and well... Fidel is doing very good," Jaua remarked.

The very early morning after the presidential election (April 15), both candidates requested the National Electoral Council (CNE) to conduct a full audit of the process: one, Henrique Capriles, because he asserts that the election results are different from the ones announced, and the other one, Nicolás Maduro, in order to clear any doubt regarding his victory, and to reinforce his political stance. Nevertheless, as it is already known, President Maduro changed his mind.
