Venezuelan ex presidential candidate for the opposition Unified Democratic Panel (MUD) expressed his gratitude on Monday for the support received during his election campaign and urged Venezuelans to keep on working on a better country. "We can and will have it," he upheld.

"You must be proud of breaking ground; there are millions of us. I will be here, beside you, working for whenever God stipulates," he said in his first messages on his Twitter account.

"There are more than six million, almost half the country helped me pave the way. I will continue working and you are not alone; there are millions of us."
