Aveledo: Many people are not satisfied and would like to do it better

In the opinion of the executive secretary of the opposition Unified Democratic Panel, Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, "fear" prevailed in a "non-majority but sufficient sector"

According to the executive secretary of the opposition Unified Democratic Panel, Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, the government got a "circumstantial" result after using the "card of fear" that gave it "enough" votes of a sector to win in the presidential election.

"The strength of hope is always bigger; such strength cannot be vanquished in more than six million who voted Enrique Capriles, and they (the government) should face this, in addition to facing the hope of a portion of his voters who want things to change."

Aveledo expects the government, particularly President Hugo Chávez, to display the self-criticism present in the last days of his election campaign. "I wish he would be more honest unlike on previous occasions."

He recalled that many people "work, fight, are not satisfied and want to do it better." "All of us should understand that there is one single country," therefore "there is the need to speak with everyone."

Chapo's drug traffic network

Luis Jiménez Alfaro seems to have hidden under the rocks. The last time he was seen was on April 2006 walking calmly around Simón Bolívar International Airport of Maiquetía, located nearby Caracas. At that time, more than five tons of cocaine arrived in Mexico in an airplane which took off from Venezuela, and his name featured as a missing piece of the puzzle of one of the most massive drug shipments that has been witnessed in the Western Hemisphere.
