On the occasion of the Venezuelan presidential election held on Sunday, President of the National Electoral Council (CNE) Tibisay Lucena has announced that as long as voters continue in line to cast their votes, such centers will remain open.
Lucena reminded poll workers, witnesses, and voters at the polling centers that the "election audit after closing and citizen verification shall be conducted."
"All poll workers shall remain in the center until sorting (of ballot boxes) and auditing is completed as provided in the manual," Lucena explained.
