Director of the Venezuelan National Electoral Council (CNE) Vicente Díaz informed that accreditation of poll workers in the presidential election to be held next October 7 has been regularized. The respective accreditations should be granted soon after completion of training, he added.
"Those who completed training and did not receive accreditation may go to the same place where they completed training to withdraw their credentials. This is very important," added the director.
Last week, some delays in the delivery of accreditations were reported in different states of the country.

He warned behind closed doors in the midst of the social upheaval occurred during the oil strike in 2002 and 2003. Dissenting Timoteo Zambrano answered back that no other option was available: "The thing is that otherwise, you do not negotiate."
