The National Electoral Council (CNE) has resolved Miami voters will cast their ballots in Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, based in New Orleans, reported Pedro Mena, the executive secretary of opposition Unified Democratic Panel (MUD) in Miami.

Formerly, the CNE argued that voting in Miami was unfeasible for taking place outside a diplomatic mission.

Notwithstanding, voting will take place indeed outside a diplomatic mission, but more than 800 kilometers far away the original site.
