Belarus takes part in construction of space station in Venezuela
China finances the work and Belarus provides technology
Belarus is to take part in the construction of a space station for satellite launching in Aragua state (central-northern Venezuela), disclosed Venezuelan Ambassador to Minsk Américo Díaz Núñez, in a press conference with the local press.
The space station will be just one of the projects to be jointly executed by Venezuela, China and Belarus, Díaz Núñez elaborated.
"The satellites are manufactured today in China, but an agreement has been reached to assemble them in Venezuela," he added.
China will fund the work; Belarus, for its part, will supply technology, Efe cited.
The three partners will also build a thermal station in western Barinas state.
The very early morning after the presidential election (April 15), both candidates requested the National Electoral Council (CNE) to conduct a full audit of the process: one, Henrique Capriles, because he asserts that the election results are different from the ones announced, and the other one, Nicolás Maduro, in order to clear any doubt regarding his victory, and to reinforce his political stance. Nevertheless, as it is already known, President Maduro changed his mind.
