President Chávez ready to enroll as candidate on June 11
The Venezuelan Head of State will make his nomination formal at the National Electoral Council (CNE) at 4:00 p.m.

Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez has plans to enroll formally on June 11 as presidential candidate running for reelection, his campaign leader Jorge Rodríguez reported on Wednesday.
Rodríguez explained that the day was chosen because the Head of State is to present also his government program, the preparation of which "has taken him all these days."
Even when queried more than once about the logistics, including meeting points and route of the march, Rodríguez, also the mayor of Libertador municipality, succinctly answered: "Just wait for that day. It will be a sea of people joining the Commander."
Minister of Communication and Information Andrés Izarra posted on his twitter account: "Let us join the candidate of the homeland for his enrollment next Monday 11. Caracas will be overflowed with love!"
