President Chávez exacts "irreversible revolution"
The Head of State promises to bolster the domestic economy under his government
Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez Frías resumed on Monday his contacts through state-owned TV channel Venezolana de Televisión. Once again, he tackled the need of his revolutionary project to smash a victory in the presidential election of October 7.
According to the Head of State, the revolution should take a non-return way. In his view, envisaging it is complicated, but attaining it is a must.
He said that the Nation's Second Socialist Plan has clearly set this path. "The Bolivarian revolution does have a country project, to be implemented through the Simón Bolívar National Plan 2013-2019."
President Chávez listed the primary objectives of the new plan: meeting social needs; bolstering the domestic economy and sustaining the growth of the country social investment, AVN cited.
