Venezuelan Defense Minister meets with his Colombian counterpart
This is the first bilateral meeting between General-in-Chief Henry Rangel Silva and Colombian Defense Minister Juan Carlos Pinzón
A Venezuelan delegation led by General Henry Rangel Silva was received with military honors at the international airport of the Colombian city of Cúcuta, said the Colombian Ministry of Defense. Then, the two delegations gathered at a hotel in the Colombian border city.
The two ministers held a first bilateral meeting and they will travel hours later to the Venezuelan city of San Cristóbal, the capital of the state of Táchira, to have a new meeting, along with high military officials. At the end of the meeting, they will hold a press conference.
This will be the first meeting between General-in-Chief Henry Rangel Silva and Colombian Defense Minister Juan Carlos Pinzón.
