In the event of being elected next February 12 to run for president on October 7, Venezuelan opposition pre-candidate Pablo Pérez gave his assurances of peace and quiet in Venezuela. "Pablo Pérez ensures six years of peace and calm in Venezuela," the pre-candidate for opposition UNT party vowed during a meeting with domestic and foreign reporters.
"We have neither chased anybody nor are violating anybody's human rights. I believe in dialogue, for justice will prevail; justice is above impunity. We will not make (Venezuelan President) Hugo Chávez's mistakes. I am not to reedit division and hatred," he affirmed.
