Caracas, Bogotá to discuss the presence of FARC leader in Venezuela

In an interview with Colombian radio station Caracol Radio, Colombia s Foreign Minister María Ángela Holguín said that the cooperation with Venezuela on security issues "will continue strengthening" following the capture of two paramilitary leaders in Venezuela, as announced by President Juan Manuel Santos

Colombia's Foreign Minister María Ángela Holguín announced Tuesday that the possible presence of the top leader of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), Rodrigo Londoño Echeverry aka "Timochenko," in Venezuela will be discussed at a meeting between the Venezuelan and Colombian ministers of Defense, to be held on Friday.

In an interview with Colombian radio station Caracol Radio, Holguín said that the cooperation with Venezuela on security issues "will continue strengthening" following the capture of two paramilitary leaders in Venezuela, as announced by President Juan Manuel Santos, DPA reported

"We have already established a procedure under which police and security forces work effectively," Holguín said.
