Venezuelan unemployment hit 873,513 people in November

According to Venezuela's historical background, the country's youngest population (Age 15-24) is the one that suffers the most in terms of employment. However, official data reveals that in November those aged 25-44 faced more difficulties to get a job.

Based on data reported by the National Statistics Institute (INE), some 873,513 were unemployed last month, 431,411 of which (49.4%) were aged 25-44.

Compared to the figure reported in November 2011 (334,606 jobless or 39.8%), unemployment rate for said aged group hiked 1.3 percentage points in a year.
