Venezuelan oil basket down 0.56% to USD 97.56
As hurricane Sandy hit the United States, crude oil demand declined, along with oil prices. The Venezuelan oil basket slipped USD 55 cents
Most crude oil prices declined as hurricane Sandy lashed out at the US east coast this week. Since refineries were shut down, crude oil demand fell.
Despite this week's decline in oil prices, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining did not report variations in the annual average price of the Venezuelan crude oil, which remained unchanged at USD 104.79 per barrel.
