Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro and his Brazilian counterpart Antonio Patriota are holding a meeting on Thursday to prepare the forthcoming meeting between Presidents Hugo Chávez and Dilma Rousseff and to discuss Venezuela's adjustment of tariffs following its entry to the Common Market of the South (Mercosur).
The closed-door meeting is taking place in Caracas, Venezuela's capital, specifically in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called la Casa Amarilla (the Yellow House). High-level delegations from both countries will take part in the talks.
