USD 1.7 billion investment in overhaul of Venezuelan powerhouses
Francois Morillo, Deputy Commissioner for South Generation informed that Caruachi hydroelectric power station reached 100 percent operational status and that Macagua power station was 98 percent operational
Morillo reported that the Government has made an investment worth USD 1.7 billion for those projects in both hydroelectric power stations. USD 300 million were allocated for the Simón Bolívar power plant and USD 400 million for the Antonio José de Sucre station.
Morillo also reported that Caruachi hydroelectric power station reached 100 percent operational status and that Macagua power station was 98 percent operational .
