Venezuelan oil basket has closed at USD 103.73 this week, informed the Venezuelan Ministry of Petroleum and Mining.
The figure is USD 0.65 down (62%) as against last week's results, when Venezuelan oil basket averaged USD 104.38 per barrel. The Ministry's website reports that major oil baskets went down as well amid an increase in US stock levels, alleged release of strategic reserves in some countries, and expectation over the imminent resume of oil operations in the Gulf of Mexico."
