Venezuelan oil basket increased USD 2.19 as against last week price

Venezuelan oil basket jumped, averaging USD 104.38 per barrel this week, informed the Venezuelan Ministry of Petroleum and Mining. Last week the oil basket ended at USD 102.19, USD 2.19 below.

The annual average price is USD 105.46 per barrel.

Likewise, the Ministry informed that other oils reported an increase this week amid worries about tropical storm Isaac crossing the Caribbean.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) basket stood at USD 112.22 per barrel; the WTI, USD 96.47; while Brent dropped and stood at USD 114.39.
