OPEC: Venezuelan oil production down 2.4%
Oil output amounted to 2.3 million barrels per barrel in July

The information was revealed in a report prepared by the organization showing figures compiled by secondary sources from the sector. The figures indicate that Venezuelan oil output stood at 2.3 million barrels per day (bpd), that is to say 2.4% down if compared with figures recorded in July (2.4 million bpd).
Meanwhile, July reported oil output matched that from June.
However, OPEC states that according to Venezuelan figures, oil output stood at 2.8 million bpd in June, and that was the same amount reported in May by the Venezuelan Ministry of Petroleum and Mining.
