Carlos Eduardo Albornoz, the national director of the Cereal Division of the National Confederation of Agricultural Producers (Fedeagro), criticized the lack of coordination between the agricultural production sector and the Venezuelan government, which according to him has affected agricultural development.

"The agricultural production sector has been neglected," Fedeagro leader said in an interview with private radio station Unión Radio. He also stated that coffee growers have staged demonstrations rejecting the lack of funding and price adjustments. Corn growers have also problems with the supply of seed, Albornoz reported.
