Venezuelan government builds 50,780 housing units this year
Mission Housing Venezuela has built in the country 50,780 housing units in 2012, stated Rafael Ramírez, a member of the Higher Housing and Habitat Body.
Ramírez also announced that this Thursday, 2,003 housing units were handed over in four Venezuelan states: 1,023 in Apure state (southwest Venezuela), 192 in Bolivar state (southeast Venezuela), 78 in Capital District (northwest Venezuela) and 800 in Zulia state (northwest Venezuela). At the same time, 2,037 one-family and multi-family title deeds were handed over in Miranda state (northwest Venezuela) and the Capital District, reported state-run radio station Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
The Venezuelan vice-president stressed that the housing units are being handed over with the correct documents by law.
José Vicente Rangel clearly said: "We are not conducting negotiations threatened with a gun in the head." He warned behind closed doors in the midst of the social upheaval occurred during the oil strike in 2002 and 2003. Dissenting Timoteo Zambrano answered back that no other option was available: "The thing is that otherwise, you do not negotiate."
