The Venezuelan oil basket sank USD 0.52 compared to last week, reported the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining on its Twitter account.
The current price of the Venezuelan oil basket averaged USD 107.06 in January 30-February 3, from USD 107.58 reported in the previous week.
The Ministry specified on its webpage that a weak oil demand along with an abundant supply of oil in the short term hit oil prices in the US market.
Venezuela's oil basket shows a downward trend for the third consecutive week.
