Venezuela invests USD 149 million to upgrade Paraguaná's catalytic plant
About 2,800 workers will be hired to carry out the project and "at the peak, there will be 3,500 workers," informed Jesús Luongo, the general manager of the Paraguaná refining complex (CRP)
In the midst of a political rally held in the facilities of the Paraguaná Refining Complex (PRC), Jesús Luongo, the general manager announced the beginning of a major maintenance shutdown in the catalytic plant.
The Pdvsa executive director explained that the major maintenance shutdown would start on January 30. The state-run oil company plans to invest USD 149 million in the works.
About 2,800 workers will be hired to carry out the project and "at the peak, there will be 3,500 workers," Luongo said.
The Venezuelan oil industry "has invested USD 1.66 billion in maintenance works," the oil manager added.
