Oscar Coca, the Bolivian Chief of Staff, said that the arrival of Venezuelan pilots forms part of a bilateral cooperation agreement; therefore, their services will be provided at no cost to the Bolivian state
The Venezuelan government sent to Bolivia two seasoned aviators to pilot the new presidential airplane bought by Evo Morales' government and to train Bolivian pilots, reported on Friday Bolivian Chief of Staff Oscar Coca.
The airplane travelled last week to South Korea, its first overseas trip.
The Bolivian pilots who accompanied the Venezuelan crew "accumulated 50 hours of flight. This means that before long they will be airplane commanders," the top Bolivian official said.
Coca said that the arrival of Venezuelan pilots forms part of a bilateral cooperation agreement, AP reported.
