Venezuelan officials search Caracas brokerage Interbursa

The Attorney General requested Venezuelan enforcement officials to raid the securities trading company Casa de Bolsa Interbursa, as part of the investigation carried out following the intervention of the banks Banco Canarias, Confederado, Bolívar and Provivienda (Banpro).

National attorneys 50th, 53rd and 73rd, William Guerrero, Ana Ysabel Hernández and Daniel Medina, respectively, carried out the request, based on Article 210 of the Organic Code of Criminal Procedure.

The search, agreed by the 11th Control Court the metropolitan area of Caracas, was carried out at the headquarters of Interbursa by officials of the Directorate for Intelligence, Security and Prevention (Disip), said a press release.

The officials seized some items of criminological interest for the probe.
