The price of Venezuelan oil basket slightly increased this week to reach an average of USD 72.75, reported on Friday the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
The basket of crude oil and refined products for export rose five cents over last week, when it averaged USD 72.70, amid a volatile market.
The Ministry reported that during the week the average price of most oil products increased mainly by the weakening of the US dollar against other currencies and the rally in stock markets, Dpa reported.
The average price of the Venezuelan oil barrel stood at USD 55.34, compared with USD 86.49 in 2008.
