Guillermo Zuloaga, the CEO of TV news network Globovisión, said he has received "huge national and international support" following his statements that President Hugo Chávez ordered the judiciary to arrest him under any pretext.

Zuloaga appeared on Thursday in the Palace of Justice to comply with the summons he has to meet every Thursday, under the investigation proceeding being conducted against him.

"We must appear in court every Thursday. We are appearing in court for the eighteenth time. We continue to comply with all the rules and legal proceedings that we are able to meet. We will present all the required allegations and we will continue to demonstrate that we have not committed any crime. Therefore we have nothing to fear," the president of Globovisión said.
