The situation of the Venezuelan business sector will be discussed during the 20th Summit of Presidents of Business Associations to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 22 to 24.
The presentation will be made by the president of the Venezuelan Federation of Trade and Industry Chambers (Fedecámaras), Noel Álvarez, who has repeatedly expressed the concern of the private sector about the government's economic policy.
During the meeting, the businessmen will discuss issues such as business community and the new political reality in Latin America, critical situations in the private sector in Latin America (the cases of Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela), the business organizations' responses to the crisis and the organization of the III Meeting of Social Partners, according to a press release issued by Fedecámaras.
