Paraguayan government dismisses accusations on Venezuelan plane

Politics
The government of Paraguay rejected on Wednesday allegations that it concealed information regarding the landing of a Venezuelan airplane last week in Asunción, the Paraguayan capital, as some media reported on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister Héctor Lacognata said that the Paraguayan Defense Minister will present the official report this week "upon completion of the research," DPA reported.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no further comments on this affair. We processed the information after analyzing the data we had. However we will compile the data, which are mainly related to the Air Force," he added.

Lacognata said "data were matched and, first of all, we are going to present a report to President (Fernando Lugo). The Minister of Defense will make it public next week."
