In an interview with El Universal, Roy Daza, the President of the Committee of Foreign Policy, Venezuela's National Assembly, ratified that relations with Colombia will remain frozen.

What actions will the National Assembly take on the case of the alleged espionage in Venezuela by Colombian Administrative Department of Security (DAS) agents?
The National Assembly has to undertake two tasks after the presentation of the report by Minister (of Interior) Tarek El Aissami. First of all, the case will be forwarded to the Committee on Domestic Policy to discuss the legal aspects, because the Colombian government has violated the international law. In fact, the statement of the Colombian Foreign Ministry acknowledges that the arrested men were members of the Administrative Department of Security (DAS), the Colombian security agency. They also admitted that the group was acting in Venezuela. The second activity is a political debate in the National Assembly about the issue and about the status of relations with the Colombian government.

However, the DAS said that the arrested people did not work for them.
The Minister told us that we have their statements, names, carnet numbers and the time they have been working for the Colombian intelligence agency.

What will the National Assembly do in the case of the 11 deaths of a group of men who were previously kidnapped in the state of Táchira?
This is a matter of discussion in the Committee on Domestic Policy.

How would you describe relations with Colombia?
After recent developments and statements by the Colombian Minister of Defense, who said that Venezuela is a drug hub, we consider that the freezing of relations will be maintained.
