The presidential committee for the constitutional reform and the community power presidential council was to be sworn in Wednesday.

The investiture ceremony will be held on Wednesday night at Teresa Carreño Theater, downtown Caracas, reported the official Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias (ABN).

President Hugo Chávez explained recently that the presidential committee for the constitutional reform will span a large group "including parliamentarians, representatives of the people's power, students and other parties from the country's major sectors, without forgetting about those who were never included before."

President Chávez brought forward this proposal before his reelection last December 3rd.
