The last stage in the presidential election of December 3rd has begun, National Electoral Council (CNE) President Tibisay Lucena reported.

"Last Monday we started to prepare voting machines. We are training poll workers already. In 14-day term we will distribute the voting materials. In other words, the Electoral Power is telling the country that we are getting ready for the democratic fiesta."

Lucena warranted "free, democratic exercise of voting." "We can assure all Venezuelans of clean, transparent and reliable polls, as well as electoral results as a perfect expression of Venezuelans' will in casting their votes."

At CNE headquarters, Lucena led the implementation of 1,000 information sites across 335 municipalities nationwide, called "Electoral Fairs."

Also, the "Electoral Route" was enforced to deploy two trucks carrying informational materials and demos of the voting system thorughout the nation.
