Two Belgians, one Dutchman and one Italian were detained
in northern Antwerp port. During the operation, 67 kilograms
of cocaine onboard of an oil tanker from Venezuela were confiscated,
the Belgium federal police announced.
"The drug was concealed under the floating line in the ship
rear section," the police said in a press release, AFP disclosed.
"The gang that came for the cocaine was using a specially
equipped ship, where some divers could move in the water without
been seen," the police explained.
The "Overseas Cathy," the flag of which could not be defined,
arrived in Antwerp port on Monday, October 2nd from Venezuelan
Maracaibo port.
