Citgo Petroleum Corporation, the US refining branch of Venezuelan
state oil firm Pdvsa, has cut production at Lake Charles refinery,
Louisiana, by 15-20 percent following a small fire Sunday
at the gasoline hydrotreater, operators said on Wednesday,
as quoted by Reuters.
The fire ignited after 4:00 p.m. Sunday and is under control
now. There were no fatalities, said David McCollum, Citgo
spokesman, who would not comment on the company's daily operations.
