Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez Wednesday said he is
assessing the possibility to buy state-of-the-start equipment
for the oil industry from a manufacturer in Izveshk, Udmurtia
Republic, Russia, the official news agency ABN reported.
Chávez' comments came Wednesday during a meeting with
his counterpart of Udmurtia Alexander Alexandrivich Volko.
Both rulers discussed bilateral integration processes.
"Today we will start evaluating the possibility to purchase
equipment for Venezuelan oil plants," Chávez declared.
Further, he hinted a manufacturing plant similar to the factory
he visited in Izveshk could be installed in Venezuela.
Chávez invited Volko to visit Venezuela.
Following a visit to a dairy plant, Chávez continued
his tour of the Russian Federation and departed for Moscow.
